Blankets and Chains

A group of “tweens” in Texas uses creative ways to remember the persecuted. (See Hebrews 13:3.)

Their “Tween Time” ministry group, featured in a previous post has made blankets to send to The Voice of the Martyrs for distribution among Christians in Sudan.

The fleece tie blankets required no sewing skills. “The girls just sat in a circle around the fabric which the leaders previously prepared and then tied the edges together,” said Marilyn M., a Tween Time leader. “While tying knots, the girls had the opportunity to discuss ways to actively love Christians who are suffering.”

The girls also attached chains to their backpacks as reminders of Christians who are facing extreme persecution.
