Snack and Share


Some of the snacks that Nigerian kids enjoy are made of corn and peanuts. Try the corn and peanut snack recipe below. Can you share the snack with a Sunday school class or other group and tell them about Christian kids in Nigeria?   1. Thaw 2 cups of frozen corn to room temperature.
  2. Preheat the oven to 400 degrees.
  3. Spread out the thawed corn in a layer on a greased cookie sheet.
  4. Bake until the corn is light brown and starting to dry out (about 15 to 20 minutes).
  5. Remove the corn from the oven and let it cool.
  6. Put the corn in a bowl, and mix in 2 cups of peanuts.
  7. Sprinkle salt on top.

Keep the snack mix in an airtight container in the refrigerator until you are ready to serve and eat it.
