Bible Verse Word Switch

Chinese girls studying the Bible

In the quotes from the Bible verses below, one word in each verse is incorrect. Find the incorrect word, then tell what word should replace it. Choose the correct word from this list: love, child, persecuted, God, joy, fear, weak, death. (If desired, print the verses, cross out the incorrect word, and write the correct word in the blank after the verse.)

How many can you get right without looking up the verse in the Bible first? (Verses are from the NKJV version, but are similar in other versions.) Check your answers in the Bible.
