Oonch Neech

Children in Pakistan and parts of India play a traditional game of tag called oonch neech. To play oonch neech, first choose one player to be “It.” The other players try to avoid getting tagged by the person who is “it.”
Players cannot be tagged if they are standing on a porch, big rock, or other safe place above ground level. Any place at ground level or below is not safe.
If a player is tagged, he or she becomes It. You may want to make a rule that says no player can stay in the same safe area for more than 10 consecutive seconds. Or you might make the playing area smaller so players can get tagged quicker.
