- Bring ½ cup sugar and 1/3 cup water to a boil in a saucepan.
- Add 1 cup of almonds.
- Stir and cook for about 7 minutes.
- Remove from heat.
- Add ½ cup water and ½ tsp. butter.
- Stir to coat the almonds well.
- Spread on a plate to cool.
- Break off pieces to eat.
