Christian Answer

God

“I have heard that Christians believe in three gods. Is that true?”

Christians believe in one God (1 Corinthians 8:5, 6). The Bible teaches that God is three persons: God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit. But He is still one God.

Jesus

“God did not get married and have children by a wife. So how can Jesus be His ‘Son’?”

Christians do not believe that God has a wife. “The Son of God” is a title for Jesus that reveals what He is like. (See Hebrews 1:3 and John 14:9,10.)

The Bible

“I have heard that the Bible has been changed over the years and is not the same as when it was first written. Is that true?”

Archaeologists have found early versions of the Bible. Their findings prove that the Bible has changed very little over the years. The different versions today are different translations or wordings with the same message. God promised to keep His word. He is stronger than anyone who might want to change it. (See Mark 13:31.)
